One hundred years after the Duce's march on Rome, LeMonde returns, in a series of articles, to the relationship of today's Italy with this heavy past. The country has not finished with the ghost of the dictator, as shown by the recent electoral success of Giorgia Meloni's far-right party, Fratelli d'Italia.

In the work done for the French newspaper, I investigate together with Jerome Gautheret, 5 symbolic places for the twenty-year fascist period: the battle sites of the First World War, the reclaimed lands of the Agro Pontino, Rome, Trieste and Predappio, the birthplace and burial place of the Duce.
